Lars’ distinctive style blends swift tribal rhythms, sharp synth patterns, and a clear essence of Detroit techno, establishing a sonic landscape. Rooted in his background as a jazz drummer, his productions also incorporate significant rhythms, adding layers of sophistication to his music.

In 2022, Lars achieved a pivotal milestone with the release of his Trilogy, “Sounds From The Past,” on Mutual Rytm. This Trilogy comprises three EPs, each embarking on a sonic odyssey through the diverse facets of early techno. Lars navigates various sub-genres, including Dub techno and Latin-influenced tribal music, showcasing his versatility.

Just recently in June 2024, he released a new concept EP “Catharsis” on Mutual Rytm, which manifests his new direction of sound, while keeping the “old school” signature.

Building on the raw energy of early 2000s techno, Lars’ latest works delve deeper into the darker sound.. This shift not only highlights his ability to adapt and innovate but also maintains the integrity of his old-school roots. The darker undertones, combined with his trademark rhythmic complexity, offer a fresh yet nostalgic experience for techno enthusiasts.
